Talk about an absolutely amazing year. This year has provided me with soo many fantastic memories, taught me so many new things, and has brought me so much happieness my heart hurts. This year was the first year in the two years that I have been doing this wonderful thing that I started taking on weddings. I knew that when I first started out I would refuse all wedding inquiries, and NEVER thought I would ever be interested in photographing weddings and couples. Needless to say I took on my first wedding in March of 2013. And shot FOUR weddings in 2013.

My bride and grooms this year were ABSOLUTELY wonderful. They helped make my job so easy and so much fun. Just seeing the joy on their faces as I was giving them their wedding images makes my heart skip a beat. Before taking on weddings I never would’ve thought I would fall in love with wedding photography. Needless to say I did, and couldn’t imagine my life without having the beautiful opportunity to be able to capture a wedding day.

My heart has been soo full of joy these past couple of weeks. I’ve had the fantastic opportunity of meeting with 3 other bride and grooms for 2014 weddings, and can officially say that I now have 3 Weddings on the calendar for 2014!!!!!!!!!! You have no idea how happy this makes my heart. I can’t wait to continue on this journey, continuing to grow, and learn everything I possibly can. Further better this passion of mine.

My clients of 2013 have been so good to me, they have allowed me to create pieces of art that will remain with them until we all grow old. And that reason is the reason I do this.

:: RMP Brides ::

I’ve truly had the most beautiful brides this year. And their grooms just as dapper! These ladies are quite possibly the sweetest ladies you’ll ever meet. And absolutely stunning I might add.

2013 has been such a successful year for me, I can’t wait to see what 2014 holds for me. I know I definitely have lots planned for it! ;) I’ve decided to come up with a list of goals for the new year. Something to make me reach for to continue to grow and be the best that I can be.

So, here are my goals for 2014!! 

1. Reach 1500 Facebook ‘likes’ (I’m at 729 right now, it’s a big goal but I think it’s do-able with your help!!) :)
2.  Book at least 10 weddings i’m 3 down — 7 to go!
3. Get published in a wedding blog or magazine.
4. Create custom swag bags for my clients that are wicked awesome.
5. Invest in new equipment
6. Add more of my personal life to my Facebook Page and Blog Posts.
7. Create a REALLY awesome behind the scenes portfolio. So you all can get to know the weirdo I am. ;)
8. Start blogging more tips and tricks! Such as helping the day go smoother, creating a better budget, finding the right vendors for you,……

I can’t wait to start out this New Year with a BANG.

So here I go. BRING IT 2014!!
