Let me tell you a story about a boy and a girl who love each other so deeply that I swear the whole world can see their love from a thousand miles away.
This wedding day was a testament to the sweet, incredible people that Lauren + Nathan are. Looking around the room, all I saw was a multitude of people that are just as obsessed with Lauren + Nathan as I am. They truly have this joy that surrounds them everywhere they go, and it causes this indescribable joy in everyone around them!! Leading up to this day, I knew that it was going to be stunning. Lauren has incredible style, and Firefly Gardens is a beautiful venue!!! So together along with her magnificent florist (Anna Rayner Creative), Lauren’s vision came to life, and my goodness was I blown away. I don’t normally feel so in awe of delicate details, but this one will definitely go down on the books as one of the prettiest set of details I’ve ever photographed.
Despite the day being absolutely gorgeous, and the fact that the wedding party could have all been models, my favorite part of the day was when Lauren spoke her vows in front of her family and friends and made everyone cry from her tear-jerker of a speech. As well as the freakout of all freakouts as Lauren + Nathan made their way back up to the venue, and finally got the chance to take in what just happened. Once we finished family pictures I got to pull the bride + groom away for some of the most GORGEOUS sunset pictures I’ve gotten to get on a wedding day in a long time. I was giddy the entire time, and these two were up for anything. With 25 minutes in our back pocket for portraits, I was practically on cloud nine. You’ll see why after you keep scrolling! ;)
We finished out the day with an Aggie party, which we all know are some of the best parties. (ps. I didn’t go to A&M, but it’s just been proven that Aggie weddings are always so memorable!! ha!!) They had the yummiest BBQ, danced the night away on a dance floor that was never empty, then ended the evening with an epic exit in a vintage car.
What a day. What a couple. It was such an honor to be a part of it. I hope you enjoy their sweet day with me!!
