2013 has been so good to me!! For me, photographing families is such an honor. To be able to capture the very essence of a family in one shot. The way that the kids interact with their parents, the amount of laughter that is shown when daddy makes a silly face, the softness and finesse of being able to shoot a beautiful couples portrait of Mom and Dad. It all makes my heart so dang happy.

Knowing that the photographs that I create are memories. Memories of a time where the kids were still little, and you were all still together. Creating a family heirloom. That’s why I do this. I don’t just photograph families for Christmas cards, I photograph families for pieces of ART hanging on my clients walls, and in albums to look back on how the kids looked at a certain age!

Never in a thousand years would I have ever thought that I would be doing this today. Having the pleasure of photographing FAMILIES! It is truly an honor and a privilege to be trusted with the task of capturing memories as they happen.

This year, I photographed over 28 families and 19 couples and portrait sessions!!!!!

I could never have imagined to have been blessed SOO thoroughly by my amazing clients! This year has brought me so much happiness, so much love, and soo many new friends!!!! My clients this year have been soo truly amazing. (and quite gorgeous if I say so myself!) ;) I’ve learned so much over this year. Gained so many new experiences. And created pieces of ART that will stay with me for forever.

I can’t wait to see what this new year holds for me! I hope to continue to be able to photograph my beautiful families, and meet plenty of new families!! BUT in honor of my 2013 clients being so freaking fantastic, i’ve decided to run a little contest. Who’s up for a contest?!?
