When I got into photography, I had no idea the emotional ties that come with this art. As I was choosing the images to go into this slideshow – I very carefully culled through images that I know fully represent the work that I produce. I’ve had to go through thousands of images re-living every moment I’ve captured over the years. Seeing these images that captivate my heart even now, knowing the moment that I was living when I shot it. Images like this move me. The tiny details outside of the big picture. The guests that attend these weddings aren’t just a good background, they were carefully picked for a guest list that was combed over a million times to come be a part of a day that they personally played a part in the journey of getting there. What a sweet, incredible thing. Not to mention the details carefully curated to create the perfect atmosphere, and even more so the family members that have prayed for these wedding days. They’ve been through the roller coaster that is planning and throwing a wedding, and are now experiencing some of the most intense emotions on a day that has been long awaited.
