Highschool sweethearts, loved by many, madly in love with one another, and perfect beyond perfect in every way. Just a few of the many things I could use to describe Lauren + Jacob.
I was smiling ear-to-ear this entire wedding day. It’s not often that I get to shoot good friend’s weddings and know 70% of the wedding guests. So you better believe I was on cloud nine. These two have my heart and are the most fun to photograph. They are the most adventurous couple who love people so well. They put Jesus first and foremost in their relationship and it shows so clearly.
Lauren planned this whole day down to every detail, and I have to say that I was blown away. Her killer shoes (you gotta check em’ out!), each of the bridesmaids dresses, handmade flower crowns (made by the bride), the lavender ties the guys wore with their navy suits – perfectly complimenting Jacob’s fiery red hair, and Lauren’s simple – yet so perfect for her gown came together to create a recipe for magic. All mixed together with Lauren + Jacob’s tangible love that everyone can see from miles away. Not to mention that Chapel Creek Ranch was THE perfect venue for this day. You have to check out this new venue in Sanger! Truly, every aspect of the day was so beautiful and so them.
During Lauren + Jacob’s first look they just stood with their foreheads together with tears freefalling down their faces. With the feeling of pure joy and happiness encompassing the moment, it was easily one of the best first looks I’ve documented. These two love eachother so well and hot dang does it show.
We get to the ceremony where they made everyone cry just a few times, sealed with a kiss and some of the loudest cheers I’ve ever heard. Then started the greatest dance party of all with their first dance to ‘The Start of Something New’ by Highschool Musical, completed with dancing on chairs, dolla dolla bills (you had to be there), and Lauren leading everyone in dancing to Thriller, Jacob’s brother catching the garter, ending with a bird seed exit before an impending thunderstorm.
I could go on and on and on about all of the aspects of this beyond perfect day. I hope you love these two as much as I do!! Enjoy!!
