Over Christmas Break my family took a vacation to Williamsburg, Virginia. The road trip itself was supposed to take 24 hours straight through, but there was a MAJOR rainstorm the day we were traveling and made our wonderful trip 30 hours long! Quite crazy but we had alot of fun! We drove through Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and finally Virginia!! It was quite an amazing trip — and for me not ever making it past Mississippi it was so fun seeing the East Coast in all of its glory! The vacation itself was absolutely wonderful, we got to relax, not worry about work or life at home, just soak in the relaxation! And me being a total history buff we went to go check out the super awesome historical museums in VA. We got to check out Historic Jamestowne and the Jamestowne Settlement, we also went to Colonial Williamsburg and the Yorktown Battlefield Museum. It was so amazing getting to stand on the very ground that history took place. Nevertheless pull out my camera and photograph these amazing historical places.
In this crazy awesome blog post you’ll meet my family!!!<3 I love doing life with them.
I loved being able to shoot my second (and third) ;) FULL rolls of 35mm film in VA. Shooting film is so invigorating for me not knowing how the images turned out right away. There’s such an art to shooting film. I love it.

This shot was a total and complete fluke. I decided to pull out the on-camera flash, and got this super crazy shot while we were playing ping-pong in the condo!
