This year I fell in love with capturing people. Simple as that.
I experienced things I never thought I would experience. I grew in so many different ways. I created art that came from the deepest parts of me that stirred up so many emotions. I learned a whole new level of time management and what it’s like to be a business-woman who works 80 hours a week.
I learned how to manage shooting 28 weddings and 73 sessions within the course of a year.
I gave my all this year.
I poured my everything into my business, my art, and my clients. My heart is so full of life after this past year and longing for so much more. I’m so excited for what this next year holds for me and my business, and myself personally. God has shown SO faithful this season of my life and has given me so much hope and joy for this upcoming season.
This year was filled was so many amazing couples who entrusted me to photograph their wedding, and invited me into their lives for a season. I will forever remember my 2015 couples for their open hearts and open arms, pushing me to create greater, more beautiful images. I have nothing but love for my 2015 babetown babe couples.
This year also brought many traveling adventures, including trips to Georgia, Maui, and many many cities all over the sweet state of Texas. I SO enjoy traveling and being a part of weddings in new states and hopefully one day new countries. Here’s to many more destination weddings in new places with super awesome people!!
Most people take this time of year to write out detailed goals and resolutions, but I want to change it up this year. Instead of writing out a list of how many followers I want, or how many weddings I want to book, I’m changing it up. All I want for this year is to create the best experience I can for my 2016 bride and grooms. To create art that’s meaningful and more inspiring then anything I’ve ever created. I want to create raw, intimate, and unique images that make you feel something when you look at them.
There you have it! A small little glimpse into my incredible year of 2015!!! I’m so incredibly excited for what 2016 holds for me and my sweet business. But for now, here’s a look back at some of my favorite work that I’ve produced over this last year!! It’s a long one ya’ll, because I just couldn’t narrow it down any more than I already have! ;)
And that’s a wrap. 2015, you were oh so sweet. Thanks for making it impossible to narrow it down to these images.
Bring it on 2016.
With Love,
