Don’t you just love how when a groom sees his bride in a first look he always steps back and looks her up and down? That moment is to die for! It’s a sweet moment where no words need to be said because his eyes say it all. It’s not just his bride in a dress – it’s his bride in the most meaningful dress she’ll ever wear.
Chris had that moment! He had Nikki spin for him, and he deserved to! It’s in those photos (and almost every photo for that matter) that you see Nikki’s INFECTIOUS smile break loose. If there is just one adjective to describe the feeling portrayed in Nikki + Chris’ wedding photos, it would be JOY. This gal is a pro at the laughing photos, in the least cheesy and forced way possible, because every laugh you see is completely genuine. She was just that joyful on her special day!!
Lastly, the weather truly shone for us that day! As a photographer no rain is a blessing, but to have a sunny day that feels nice as well is actually the dream. This venue was right on the lake which made it a gorgeous ceremony setting. A big part of a wedding is not only the family but the guests in general. It was important to the couple that their guests enjoy the beautiful weather during the outdoor cocktail hour, and that they did!
