Away’s back, when I first started photographing people, I had this dream. THIS DREAM. Of this exact shoot. In late 2012 I had decided that I was going to start doing ‘concept shoots’ and do these just for me, for my enjoyment to continue to learn, and let my creativity flow. To not worry about pleasing anyone but me!! And oh how I am pleased!!!<3 This is the exact setting I pictured in my mind last year, just a boy and a girl and a beautiful red truck. In the middle of an open field, at sunset, with gorgeous flowers and candles. Needless to say it all came out so perfect! I’m so completely in awe over how beautiful these images turned out!<3 And to finally fulfill my dream of shooting something like this!!!
I met Ben and Alison about a year ago and automatically knew they were exactly what I wanted!!! So hopelessly in love, just walking life together, and like to laugh about it!! They have so much joy as a couple and as a family! Honestly, it was REALLY hard to keep straight faces during our session because we were laughing most of the time! (We’re all a bunch of awkward dorks most of the time) ;) We just had a blast!! It was pretty fantastic!!!
I’ve had this idea in my head for quite a while, but I had to play the waiting game until it all came together! I wanted the perfect couple for my models, gorgeous, in-love, country. And Ben and Alison were exactly that! They were perfect!! Their love just radiates in these images, and they were up for anything I wanted to try! And //BONUS// Ben and his brother both own vintage trucks, and I had the opportunity to be able to use one of them during our shoot!! It was absolutely perfect!!!
So here I am with the perfect couple, a gorgeous red truck, a last minute location, and a camera in hand ready to capture this dream I had floating around in my head. And it turned out to be one of my favorite shoots I’ve ever done. I’m soo excited to get to share this with you guys!<3 I really hope you enjoy!
