Eeek! I can’t even describe how fantastic it was to finally have been able to style a wedding. I always see wicked awesome wedding photogs styling wedding sessions, shooting them, and being awesome. Along with getting those sessions published! Which is pretty fantastic if you ask me! Well I had styled this session along with an engagement session (that you can see HERE) for my mentorship weekend that I was doing with Amy of Amy Flores Photography!!!
This weekend was everything and MORE than I ever could have imagined!!! My love for teaching, and sharing what I love — combined with a GORGEOUS couple, an amazingly gorgeous dress from Circa 77 Vintage Dress Shop, and pretty flowers made by Amy and I late Friday night. Everything for this session came together oh so perfectly, and for that I will always be thankful! This whole weekend was a weekend for me to be able to pour out my passion, and help guide the amazing Amy into learning more about shooting weddings and all of the aspects that come with it! And oh goodness was it fun!! I mean, cmon, you put two photographers in a room together — what do you expect? ;)

Now lets talk about my PERFECT models. Alison and Ben have been loyal clients of mine for a while now, and I have had the privilege of using them for another styled session of mine, along with shooting their GORGEOUS family. Wanna see? Check out their styled session HERE. And their super sweet family session HERE. They’re just so dang photogenic, and so freakin over-the-top IN LOVE. You wonder why I love shooting them!!
Ben and Alison were the perfect workshop models, they were so patient with me as I was teaching and directing. And were perfectly fine with being gorgeous and making out. (yeah. I make my clients do that.) ;) Gah! They just have such a beautiful love for eachother and i’m absolutely honored to be able to document their sweet love!
Anyways, when I had envisioned this session, I envisioned Ben + Alison — a GORGEOUS vintage dress, Ben in Suspenders, and super creamy dreamy light. and BOOM. I got it.
I couldn’t be more happy with the results of this session, and the fact that I got to help Amy be able to create deep and rich images to add to her ever growing portfolio! You should really check out her website up above and show her some love!
