Lauren + Will. Man, where to begin. I think what stood out to me the most on their day was the intense love that carried through every aspect of this day. Of course, weddings exist to celebrate love that two people share together, but also seeing the love that surrounded them in the form of friends and family was a simultaneously breathtaking and tear-jerking moment.
Lauren and her bridal party were all smiles and giggles while preparing for the big day- my kind of people! Her attention to detail and all-things-pretty made it fun and so easy to align with her vision. I mean just look at that braid! Lauren’s eye for design was so evident throughout her day, even down to the smallest detail! One of my favorite features of the bridal party were the King Protea bouquets; if you aren’t familiar with the King Protea flower, you won’t soon forget.
Lauren decided to do a first look with her father and brothers, which turned into my favorite moment of the day. You can see a father’s pride and love for his daughter, and her love and honor towards him when you witness their exchange. The brothers came in with hugs, laughter and joy as they all embraced on this momentous day.
The ceremony was filled with laughter and celebration, which was the perfect way to launch Lauren and Will’s into their new chapter of life. The love and support that surrounded them was so palpable, it was so evident that this couple has been prayed for and cheered on every step of the way.
What’s a wedding without a slight mishap? During Lauren and Will’s first dance, his sleeve button got caught on her hair mid-turn! Like true champs, they laughed it off and kept right on dancing. I ended up stealing her away to fix the slight hair emergency as Will and his mom shared a dance. Hair in repair, the night ended with a bang as we all danced and sang the night away with a party that was one for the books. These folks sure knew how to celebrate their people!
Sparklers in hand and cheers in the air, the lovebirds made their way to their getaway car, sealing a perfect day with a perfect kiss.
